What can a control and automation system do?
It puts lighting, shades, climate, audio, video and security on one system, so you can control them from a keypad, touch panel or phone app, and set scenes and schedules that run automatically.
Crestron, Savant, Control4 or Lutron: which should I choose?
It depends on the size of the project, how much customization you want and your budget. Crestron suits larger and more complex projects, Savant is known for its app, Control4 is flexible and easy to expand, and Lutron leads in lighting and shades. We recommend one after the consultation.
Do you automate commercial spaces as well as homes?
Yes. We automate restaurants, bars, retail stores, offices and hotels, as well as private residences.
How much does home automation cost?
It depends on the number of rooms, the systems being controlled and the platform. A few rooms of lighting and shades is a very different budget from a whole-home system with AV, climate and security. We send a fixed, itemized proposal after the consultation.
Can you add automation to an existing home or business?
Yes. Wireless keypads, shades and devices make retrofits possible without opening every wall, and we can tie in many systems you already own.
When should automation be planned in a new build?
During design, before walls close. Pre-wire for keypads, shades and equipment is far easier and cheaper while the space is open, so we coordinate with your builder and designer early.
Can I control everything from my phone?
Yes. Every platform we install has an app for remote control and alerts, alongside keypads and touch panels for everyday use.
Do you support systems that another company installed?
Yes. We can take over support, reprogram and expand Crestron, Savant, Control4 and Lutron systems installed by other integrators.
Where do you install automation systems?
Nationwide. We handle single sites and multi-site projects across the United States.
